There is this guy that hangs around Green Market Square with eggs on his head. He is called, not very creatively, Eggman. He walks around with a plastic phone and laughs a lot.Well, it turns out he is not just a lunatic. He is actually a performing arts guru and you can book him for festivals, commercials and shows.
Anyway I sent him an email asking him what his message is for tourists visiting the country for the first time. He wrote back:
I Gregory da Silva, The World Famous Eggman Cape Town South Africa. A Great, Funny Comedian Artist dancer, Storyteller, Street Live Performer, wishes all tourist a lovely time in beautiful South Africa.
The Eggman is awesome!
